This was a very immersive story full of vivid imagery and hidden messages and I truly loved the writing style. 

As I was reading I felt instantly like I was in india and as the story unfolded I felt like I was living it with Tamarind. 

This is the kind of story where the beautiful cover matches the story inside. 

I did find myself putting it down a lot but I don't think that was the books fault (it is a book you could quite easily consume in one sitting) 

The plot is not overly extensive but the character development and the images created from the excellent writing makes that not matter.
