Mi corazón en los días grises
Reviews

This is fiction and therefore the story is bound to be somewhat unrealistic and a bit exaggerated at times. It's known that mental illness doesn't just "disappear" when you meet someone and fall in love. I think the story would have worked better without the romance, which I thought was unnecessary and just there for the sake of the plot. But anyway, leaving that aside, what I liked about this book is that it's a very, very good and accurate portrait of what depression feels like. The author has a way of expressing complicated feelings in simple words without making it look like depression is something poetic or nice. Because it isn't and I liked that this is mentioned in the sotry. This is a short, quick and quite simple read, but I enjoyed it very much.
