War looms on the horizon as the Jinns, Curseworks and Wishworks prepare for battle. In Jinn territory, Abdul Cadabra and his lamp of 1000 Nightmares grows stronger each day. At Curseworks, Penelope and Preztoe, the half-jinn, are desperately planning an escape from the deepest dungeons. At Wishworks, after successfully finding three of the famed Wishworks weapons, Ben and his friends are on a treacherous journey to find the fourth and final weapon from deep within Jinn territory. Knowing they cannot be caught, Candlewick enlists the help of an elite force, the Thaumaturgic Cartographers.
