Kissing Kosher

Kissing Kosher is another Jewish story from the works of Jean Meltzer, and it's definitely giving everything you would want in a Jewish love story! 

I absolutely adored this book, I don't think I found a single flaw in this beautifully crafted plot, I just loved everything about it! 

The characters were so loveable I could die, New York is my favorite city in the world so the setting was absolutely perfect, add in a Jewish bakery, what more could you ask for??

I could literally smell Best Babka from within the pages, and I desperately need to be there and try their pumpkin-spiced babka!

I don't know how accurate the IC representation is since I don't have it, but I do know Jean herself suffers from a chronic illness, and I think from a non-suffering person's perspective this was amazing! I learned so much from this book, for example, I didn't know there were illness specific diets that help with the pain and management of the illness. 

Ethan is such an amazing and inspiring character, people can learn so much from his actions, and I hope I'll be able to take some things from him too!

This book was just extraordinary, I can't wait for Jean's next Jewish story! 😍

Absolutely adorable. For some reason I thought this was a holiday season book and while it’s not that, I still absolutely adored it. A modern Romeo and Juliet but the feud is over pastries. I really enjoyed this one and loved that the other took the time to explain Jewish traditions since I am not Jewish and don’t know a lot of these things. Without any real background knowledge I was never confused or lost and it was explained in a way that I don’t think would be super boring if you were Jewish and already knew all of these details. All of this wrapped together with a funny and quirky  cast of supporting characters make for the perfect easy read romance.
