first of all, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I started reading this out of curiosity and it turned out to be... good?

I flew through the story, the writing and plot are actually decent too.

Otra de mis escritoras que se demora centurias entre cada libro publicado, lo bueno es que la mayoría de las veces merece el tiempo de espera.

El principio me decepcionó un poco. PERO no porque el inicio fuera malo, es sólo que pensé sería una historia contada por dos narradores, como pasó en algunos de los otros libros de Night Huntress World. Adoro a Vlad, su frío sentido del humor, su manera cínica y personalidad egocéntrica lo convierte en un personaje completamente deseable.

I wanted a simple vampire romance and this book delivered. I’m a sucker for any rendition of the story of Dracula and this was no exception. I enjoyed all of the characters that we meet and enjoyed the setting. Leila’s background was refreshing, as was her electrical powers. 


Would recommend to anyone who wants to read a vampire romance novel.

I listened to this in audiobook format. A light, entertaining and smexy read. I'll definitely check out the author's other works.
Sometimes you need a palate cleanser between books. This was perfect for that.
