Interesting historical fiction and family saga rolled into one. Sally Kincaid is a ballsy woman, and her family unofficially runs their southern town. When her father, "The Duke" dies, Sally fills his shoes in ways that she could never imagine. Good read.

Alissa Maloney

If you enjoy reading about the 1920s and the prohibition era, this was an interesting read. Jeanette did a lot of research (listed at the end) and wrote a book with a voice that truly speaks from the story's heart.
