Trigger warnings: (view spoiler)[death, murder, war themes (hide spoiler)] While I am intrigued to see where Boom! takes the MTG story, something about this volume by itself was missing for me. The story being spread across four planeswalkers - bouncing between each perspective - meant that some of the natural storytelling flow was disrupted. Hoping that more volumes will create a more fleshed-out story because the art style and overall storytelling feel really fitting for the MTG world. blog • trigger warning database • more links Happy reading! ❤
