Although Selingo did not reveal information that I have not read or heard elsewhere, he packaged the information well. He discussed all the major issues higher education faces today without becoming overly pessimistic. He also writes with an engaging style and does not become too bogged down in negativity. 
I appreciate the first hand, on the ground approach Selingo took to the research for this book although it did seem like he favored certain schools and did not discuss many others. In his defense, the United States has a lot of institutions of higher education and it would be difficult if not impossible for one man to visit and/or research them all.

I would recommend this book to anyone interested in the economics of the current higher education situation.
