The volume incorporates the latest information available from current scholars in the field of ceramic analysis of the pottery forms of Jordan. It features introductory chapters on the history of Jordan, ceramic technology and typology, social and economic connections of pottery, and the sourcing of clay. These are followed by thirteen chapters on the pottery of the archaeological periods of Jordan (Pottery Neolithic through the Late Islamic Period).
