This book was written in the same tone as Jen Lancaster's other books. However, since this is a fictional novel, it flowed even better than her other books. It was at once funny, heartwarming, and I even teared up at one point. Mia's adventures in home renovation sounds like the kind of adventure that would end up happening to me. I too would get trapped by a bathtub in my own home.
