I'm so disappointed in this book. I always want to love Lancaster's books regardless, but it was too difficult with this one. I never connected to any character, and felt like the premise of the book finally happened in the last 20 pages. Unlike the stuff I've read from her before there were too many "pop-culture" references that took me out of the story and 1 dimensional characters that I forgot about 30 seconds after I read about them. Wish I could feel differently. I still remember staying up nights to finish her stories. I hope those days aren't behind me.
