The Moon Will Shine for Us Too is the sequel toThe Sun Will Rise and So Will We.I find comfort in a full moon in the middle of autumn, the dead of winter, or after a warm summer day.But sometimes the darkness comes too early or stays too long, and the only light is in the midnight moon.Sometimes getting through hard times takes a while. Takes way longer than expected. The darkness may seem overwhelming and the light at the end of the tunnel non-existent, but The Moon Will Shine for Us Too.

Probably my favourite one out of this mini duology of poem collections. Felt the poems a lot hit a lot more close to home. I was wondering, at specifically one poem, I will include in this review, if the author had me in my mind this whole time. Really good & highly recommend putting on one of The Jazz Hope Café ambience videos (I recommend boba stop) whilst reading this :)

“When will people realize
I have never been shy.
I have so much to say.
My mind is dancing with stories
that want to come out and play.
But how can I talk
when you are much louder
and want to be heard
much more than I do.
So, I sit in silence,
listen,

I love it, it’s simple & something fast paced if you were like me & didn’t know what you wanted to read but knew you definitely wanted to read. I loved the references to the moon & how it sheds light on how everyone isn’t perfect & that we’re all weird in our own ways.
