The List of Suspicious Things

It might sound stupid but I didn't know this book was about the Yorkshire Ripper. This book has the same 2nd hand embarrassment inducing naivety I saw in Northanger Abbey which made it a long read for me but a read I can't quite understand how I feel about. I definitely don't dislike this book and yet I also can't say I enjoyed it. It almost felt like a famous five book but with more puberty hormones and family issues. That isn't to say that's a bad thing at all just a v unusual for me
