This is my fourth time around for this book, but the first time in Audio form. I figured now was a good time to start my spooky reads for the year and I might as well start with one of my favorites! You have a creepy house, a horrible house keeper, two traumatized children, three ghosts, and a second chance romance. Populated with Jennifer Crusie’s unmistakable wit, and a cast of quirky side characters, this is just a fun ride that doesn’t skimp on the heart.

It’s so funny that when deciding what book I should read next I was between a funny Jennifer Crusie novel or a spooky-themed book in honor of the Halloween season. Jackpot for me, without even knowing it, this one had both!

Well, not so much comedy. Although, yes, there were some classic Crusie funny moments, I felt this story was a little more sentimental in that aspect. 

And even though I liked North and Andie, I think the main relationship of this book was between Andie and the children… or more about Andie and Alice.

I felt a little bad for Carter because of that. I felt as though Andie had a favorite and she didn’t have a problem showing it. 

So here are some things that didn’t go with me:

- Andie and North’s relationship comes secondary here, I get that, but I wish I would have gotten more moments with them together.

- I was rooting for May at first and was kinda sad to find out she was bad. 

- The whole rape thing with Kelly was a huge no. Andie excusing it because May had said she would have slept with the three guys anyway was… yeah, that’s still a no. 

- It started to get a little repetitive. Some things were explained two or three times and was that necessary?

This is the second book of the Colorado Ice Series and happens to be the first one I have read from Jennifer Snow and it was not disappointing at all. 

Abigail Jansen and Jackson Westmore had great chemistry. At times it was frustrating but in the end it was all worth it since rushing into their romance isn't always exciting. I love that Jackson had a second chance to find out whether or not he and Abigail belong together. The only thing that bugged me was when Jackson put his blinders on when it came to his best friend and Abigail's relationship. Unfortunately, he had a jaded view of her but I'm glad he figured out the truth.

Maybe The Christmas is book three in the Colorado Ice series. 

I loved the previous books so of course, I couldn't get my hands on this book.

Maybe The Christmas is about Emma and Asher . I very much enjoyed it because It is fun, cute and sexy.

This story wasn't my favourite but I did enjoy it none the less. Very well written and like the others, it was a fast read.

I do highly recommend.

She's closed herself off from relationships, and the thought of opening up is terrifying. But Owen's sexy charm might be just the push Paige needs to start loving again.

Maybe This Summer

I liked Paige and Owen's story but I found no connection with Paige and Owen. I think it would have been better if it it would have been a full-length book. 

This novella was cute and a decent read though.

Maybe This Kiss is the first book in the Colorado Ice series and I admit I loved this book and I know this is one I will most likely be reading again in the future . 
 I already have the second book and I couldn't wait to read it right after I finished the first book in the series because I loved Maybe This Kiss so much.

Maybe This Kiss is a quick and easy read that got me hooked from the beginning and I am sure it will do the same to a lot of you too.

I have read the first one and I had to read this one as well .

I read this book in pretty much one sitting. I loved this sweet and quick read.

I do highly recommend this book.
