3.5 stars: Perfect Couple is a good relate-able story set in high school. Brody is so different from Harper. He is out-going and loud but when it comes to Harper, he is so sweet. I didn’t like Harper’s character because while she had a boyfriend, she would flirt with Brody and at one point, cheat. That doesn’t sit well with me, even if her boyfriend was a complete a**hole to her.

The idea of getting this complete opposite couple together through the superlatives for the yearbook was a well-thought plan. I hadn’t read a book where this happened and Jennifer Echols really put much thought into it to deliver a great story.

Even though I liked Harper and Brody, the story I am most looking forward to is Sawyer’s story with Kaye. I fell in love with Sawyer instantly and I know his story will be filled with craziness and fun and laughter. If you are looking for a light and fast read, this series is for you. If you haven’t read a book by Jennifer Echols, what the hell are you waiting for?!

Echols is always guarenteed to write a book I enjoy. I liked Biggest FLirts, but I had my issues with it, the same is true for Perfect Couple. I enjoyed it, but I did occassionally find myself getting bored, the pacing was a bit off. There was too much repetition in the book, Harper's doubts got a bit boring. Despite these issues I really enjoyed it. I would read it again and would recommend it to others.

It is not groundbreaking writing, but it is a fun easy read. It makes you think just enought about how you want to be seen as a person, but doesn't make you think too much. It's just fun, and what more do you want from a book than that?

I've been a fan of Jennifer Echols for quite awhile now. I was ridiculously excited about the Superlatives series. It just sounded fun. Biggest Flirts was a good read, but Perfect Couple was far more my speed. It was so very close to being a five-star book for me! 

I found myself able to connect with Harper nearly immediately. It was partly because she's a photographer, but mostly because she was just real and likable. She wasn't conceited or too shy. I liked that she didn't fall into either extreme. She was a talented photographer with a boyfriend who was far less than charming. Brody was adorable and, as far as Harper was concerned, out of her league... regardless of what their classmates thought. There was definitely a sizzle of a connection between them, even though they were both at least somewhat involved with other people. I couldn't help but cheer them along as they navigated the waters of high school and their growing attraction to each other. 

I won't say much more because this book is best experienced and not spoiled. What I will say is that Perfect Couple was pretty much the perfect book for me when I read it. It was fun, charming and sweet... and the very best of what I've come to expect from Jennifer's writing. I'm even more excited about reading the next book in the Superlatives series now. I can't wait for Kaye and Sawyer's story!
