One of my college professors recommended this book to me years ago and I really wish I hadn't been in my stubborn years still! This book was such a delight, and it really made me feel like sometimes we read books at the exact moments in our lives when we need them. I loved Cannie, and I was so entertained and surprised at all the twists of this book. Of course I expected things would end the way they did, with her happy. Still I have to give credit for the surprises this book still managed. Great read, perfect book club/vacation pick.

еще одна книга, которая будет лучше, если по ней снимут фильм. не мыло, даже не ромком -тут есть драма (хотя ок, с хорошим финалом). история про то, как писатели колонок из глянца пишут исключительно о себе и своих друзьях и знакомых - других писателей колонок из глянца

ок, на самом деле не про это история, просто конкретно это ну прям такая тру стори - один колумнист переспал с другим колумнистом и назавтра написал про это колонку, MY ASS

p.s. а, и еще не могу не отметить переводчика, который я уж не знаю, что читает и смотрит в свободное время, но очень слабо в курсе американских реалий (типа названий сетевых магазинов или еды - действие происходит в Филадельфии, и чизстейк переводят как стейк с сыром, оооок), так и американского сленга - в некоторых местах я прямо видела, что на самом деле имелось в виду, и перевод был фейспалмовый. я знаю, что за художественный перевод очень мало платят, но серьезно, чтобы знать про чизстейк, достаточно смотреть сериалы
