“Hawke” is the first stand alone novel and was released in 2022. Nicole never once imagined anybody other than Patrick (her seemingly perfect boyfriend) could grab her attention. That ended, when Cameron Hawke (an ex-convict) becomes their roommate unexpectedly, turning her whole calculated world on end.

The tension is thick enough to cut with a knife in the house, since Hawke’s lifestyle clashes with hers. Her curiosities get the best of her while she tries to learn the secrets that lay behind his mysterious past.

Temptations get overwhelming while some lines are crossed, the truth to a horrific past is unearthed, and feelings get blurred. It changes the lives of these three forever.

Hawke is an incredible hero in this sexy as hell novel. This novel has it all, tension and angst, amazing chemistry between the leads, push and pull with a forbidden aspect. Jescie’s poetic writing style is fantastic, and is descriptive and vivid in every single scene, allowing you to see what’s happening in every scene in your mind as it plays out. It’s a lust filled read, that is filled with pushing and pulling and then tension between the two is so explosive. Readers were sold right from the start and they found themselves sitting right at the edge of their sofa, impatiently waiting for that moment where you know there will be fireworks.

I will be honest the beginning of this book had me questioning if I was going to even like it! 

But I kept reading and I fell fast for the main characters (Not Patrick!). I am a big fan of the cheating trope, it’s thrilling and exciting to read about a couple secretly falling in love while they think no one is watching. My only gripe is I wish she would have demonized Patrick a little more but I still loved the story. 

Cam and Cole 😍 I love how their love story felt like a slow burn, but once they started exploring each other holy shit! I felt like I was burning up just to get to the next scene or the next chapter when they could be alone or find a moment when they were on fire for each other. 

I loved this story once I got to the end I almost had a breakdown the ending was so sweet and sentimental with finally laying everything to rest and getting justice for Ben. But the last scene 🎬 omg I felt so sad but still happy the couple got there happily ever after. 

I love this author now I can’t wait to dive into her next book kid and her other novels, I’m so excited to see how she brings her other characters to life!!!!! ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

I devoured this book quickly! I won’t lie, the FMC annoyed me for the first little bit, but she redeemed herself by the end. Hawke, the big bad boy looking teddy bear! I loved that he was such a sweetheart to Cole, patient, and just good. I’m glad he got his happy ending.
