There's just something about Eisenberg's writing style that really speaks to me. It's so funny and awkward and human. The three points of view are expertly handled and I love how the multiple time periods in which each narrator's logs are set allows the whole story to be a medidation of modern fatherhood, a timeless tale of adolescence in a sci-fi near-future, and a 90s period piece, all at the same time.
