Let me just say that Jessica Hawkins is one of my favorite authors that I’ve discovered through Amazon. Her writing will have you hooked and each of her stories offer something different, so I definitely recommend everyone checking out ALL of her stories. 

This is the second installment of her White Monarch series, and the only thing I am upset is about is having to wait until November to find out what happens next! Violent Ends provides us (and Natalia) with a little more insight about Cristiano and his business. Natalia’s and Cristiano’s new relationship becomes the center of attention in this one, and she is slowly finding out that he may not be the man that she’s always thought he was. Of course, her body and heart, seem to be trying to tell her mind that he’s one of the good ones, but her strong will won’t allow herself to fall for the man who murdered her mother. We also see Natalia become more confident as Cristiano encourages her strength rather than reminding her that she’s weak. 

It’s evident that Cristiano cares a lot about Natalia - probably more than he would like to considering attachments make him vulnerable in the world of Cartels. He still swears he had nothing to do with her mother’s death, and I am hoping we get answers regarding that it Violent Triumphs. 

Cristiano’s and Natalia’s love for each other seems inevitable at this point, and it’s a slow, slooow, S-L-O-W burn, but I know that Jessica Hawkins is going to make it all worth it in the end.

that ending???? the sexual tension between cristiano and natalia, their banter, their flirting, the hate to love, the power plays, the character development in both of them hahaha biiiiiiish this book was a full course meal

After reading the first book in the White Monarch trilogy last week I just had to read this second book right away. 

I absolutely loved Violent Ends. This book has action, suspense, angst and sexy as hell.

I just couldn't put Violent Ends down. Now I need the 3rd book in my hands because I can't wait to see what happens next. 

I do highly recommend.
