I’m not going to say I totally understand what just happened here, because I didn’t.
It was very confusing. With all the revenants and shades and ‘original revenants’ and everything… it was very confusing.
Also, my theory about Cyn has neither been proven nor disproven. Although I will it’s doubtful. But she’s at least a psychic or a seer or something.
The part at the end with Vincent talking about Kristen.. I read that part three times and I still don’t understand how it’s anything different from we already knew, but apparently it was, cuz of what happened right after, which I’m trying very hard not to tell you about.
So, all in all, this book, well the ending of this book, was very confusing. And it left a little hole in my heart. It didn’t end the way I thought it would. It was a good ending. But confusing. And hole-leaving.

Okay, I just re-read the last ten pages for the third time, and NOW I think I finally understand what the heck just happened.
(view spoiler)[If you ask me, I hate it when this happens and the author turns back time, miraculously making everything ‘right’. Especially because, how this went down in this book, everything that happened in the books is still there, it still has meaning, it still matters at the end, but it’s all been undone. And it makes it extra-confusing.

This series is one of my favorite YA paranormal series and it just has all the spooky goodness that I love! 

This was a re-read but apparently I never documented my first read on Goodreads 🤷‍♀️ 

5/5 stars, again I loved this book and this series

This book was so gripping and made me so emotional, it isn't even funny. I have been hooked on this book since my friend gave me the first one to read and I've barley been able to put it down. The characters were all amazing through out, even though that girl that took over Kristen's locker was a little wierd, i still loved her. Verday is an amazing writer and wrote the characters and the storyline perfectly. Ahh, I loved it.

this book was so fucking beautiful. i couldn’t have asked for a better ending. i couldn’t have asked for better characters. i couldn’t have asked for a better romance (especially november 1st ;)). i wouldn’t change a single think about this book. 

i’m literally crying right now, at this very moment, while writing this review. The Hidden is such a whirlwind of emotions.
