Hey y'all. 
So, about the HOLLOW. If you like mysteries, this is an excellent book for you. 
There aren’t that many YA mysteries out there, at least not that I’ve read, so this one is pretty unique.
Oh, and if you haven’t read this book before, I feel it only fair to inform you: THIS IS A GHOST STORY.
I won’t tell you any more than that, though, so you can puzzle over that as you read.
This book, if it’s the first time you’re reading it, it definitely keeps you guessing, unfortunately, I’ve read it before.
But not for a while, so there were some parts where I was surprised.
The Ultimate Question: what happened to Kristen?
I’m hoping that’s revealed in the HIDDEN, which is book 3. Unfortunately, I have to read the second one, The HAUNTED, to get to it.
Also, the tagline on this book, A love like no other is kind of misleading, if you ask me.
Not that there love isn’t like no other, but I just don’t think of their love as being the main point of the story.
The main point of the story has something more to do with that Ultimate Question I told you about.
What happened to Kristen?
God, just tell me what happened to Kristen!!! 

Okay, so there was a point in this book where Abbey talked about turning on the angriest music she could find. For some reason, I took this as a challenge.

I got interested in the last fifty or so pages with the whole reveal about Nik. And caspian. But otherwise it felt like it dragged on with mundane events.

Really struggled with this one, and after forcing myself to read the first 150 pages I had to give up. It's a shame because I'd been wanting to read this book for a long time before I finally got around to buying it, the Legend of Sleepy Hollow is something I've always been interested in, but this just didn't click for me.

Picked this book up on a random whim and it was okay...not great...kind of weird honestly. Chick thinks she's met this super hot awesome guy only to find out he's a ghost and she might be losing her mind. I'm not sure how I made it through the whole thing but I managed.

When I first heard of this book I was worried about reading it. It seemed to be one of those hit or misses. However, I am sooooooo glad I picked it up. This book really captured my imagination from beginning to end. With Jessica's beautiful writing style that makes you feel like you are there allow side Abbey. I really felt all the things Abbey was feeling. When she cried, I cried. (well I cried from start to finish lol)When she laughed, I laughed. She was easy to connect with and I felt like I have gained a new friend. When Abbey meets Caspian (who btw is cutie in my imagination)she starts to feel again from the lose of her friend. He awakens all new feeling in her. However, he did annoy me just a little as he always seemed to taking "two steps forward then five steps back" as Abbey said. However, in the end I loved them and can't wait to read the rest of their story.

This is Jessica's debut novel and she has did an amazing job here. Not only has she produced a fantastic and emotional novel, she has made me want to go out and read The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.

I recommend this to someone who enjoys reading books that are emotionally intense, gripping from start to finish and with some mystery.

(WARNING DONT NOT READ IN PUBLIC CRYING IS A POSSIBILITY)

I feel like no matter how much or little I wrote about this book I can't do it justice it just has to read.

okay, i fucking loved this book. i loved the way verday slowly built up to the climax, leaving us little hints and clues as to what would happen in the future. i also loved the ending, which talked about the red hair (total foreshadowing).
