This is my most favourite book ever, I'm so happy I found it again!!

Could not get into this one. There were too many points of view, too many characters (many of them poorly developed), and too little explanation for why anything was happening. It was very much like a horror movie: poor world-building, short on plot, lots of pointless gore. Horror movies aren't my thing, so I could barely bring myself to finish this jumble of a book.

When tremendous earthquakes destroy the Earth's major cities, an ancient evil emerges, turning ordinary people into hunters, killers, and insane monsters, but a small group of teens comes together in a fight for survival and safety.

I honestly did not expect to love this as much as I did! It was so creepy and suspenseful, and kept me on my toes and guessing through the whole book.

Moments after several huge earthquakes shake every continent on Earth, something strange starts happening to people. Michael can only watch in horror as an incidence of road rage so extreme it ends in two deaths unfolds before his eyes; Clementine finds herself being hunted through the small town she has lived in all her life, by people she has known since childhood; and Mason is attacked with a baseball bat by a random stranger. An inner rage has been released and some people cannot fight it. For those who can, life becomes an ongoing battle to survive - at any cost.

Dark Inside is one of those books that is completely different to anything I have read before. I was hooked on the book from page one. However, being in a weird reading slump it took me a while to read but when I got about halfway through I couldn't put it down and snapped out my slump. I devoured the second half in one sitting. It was intense, dark and thrilling, everything I like! Although I have to attempt the four POVs changes took a lot of get my head around.
