an easy read that flows through many years, a good look into asian american-ness from the POV of a bengali family. the plot is quite simple, which is my main point of criticism

good book, first one i finished in a while. i’m not good at remembering specifics at all but my favorite moment was the night ashoke explained the meaning of goguls name to him when they were together that one night. real tear jerker noooo it all came together from his grandmother passing to him changing his own name. his destiny is his name. i can’t complete any thoughts bc im at #work love this story i hate  all of his gfs
