Gahhh I wanted to love this more than I did, but Jaydn’s actions really rubbed me the wrong way at times. She’s the definition of a WASP-y heroine, and created way too much unnecessary drama for her and Phillip. The bar scene near the end was cringeworthy and bothered me. I have to question why literally nobody around her was willing to be the voice of reason. I am mainly just here to eventually read Danny’s story and I don’t even think it was necessary to write more for Phillip and Jaydn. I hope Jaydn isn’t as immature in the next book. 😢

First, let me say that I absolutely *adored* That Boy. It was a little harder for me to get into That Wedding and I'm not really sure why. Once I did, however, I fell in love with it. It would have been very close to being a five-star book for me... if it hadn't been for the grammar and spelling errors. I know it was an ebook, but it still should have been edited better. I was quite disappointed with the number of "your/you're" errors. And the lack of capitalization on some things I think should have been capitalized (Facebook). One character's name was also misspelled at least one time. As someone who edits documents nearly daily at my job, those are the kind of things that can ruin a book for me really quickly. I've stopped reading books before because of those type of errors. If I wasn't in love with JJ and Phillip (and Danny and Lori), I might have put this one down and not come back.
