This book was impeccably written. The rollercoaster of emotions this book took us through was amazing. The way the characters grew and healed each other. Everything was absolutely divine. I fear I might’ve read my best read of 2025 too early 🫢

honestly, i don’t know what to feel about this book. i really wished they cut out some sexual part from the book. like, it wasn’t necessary. 90% of the book was sexual. i would’ve preferred more connection to the sexual scenes, but that might be just my opinion. 

the writing style was actually good. plus the narrators voice made me finish in one piece.

Beautiful. Just so fuckin beautiful. I’m so thankful I got to witness such love between these two characters

           J.L Seegars can do no wrong.. I absolutely love Sloane and Dominic, everything about this hit hard: the grief and moving on, the unrequited forbidden love, the way he loved her for a decade and practically worshipped her… I loved seeing Sloane and Dom work out the issues caused by their terrible narcissistic parents and being there for each other…I love Mallory, she was such a great best friend to them and can’t wait for her story with Chris!

OMG y’all. This book. This book. Sloane and Dominic’s story is a beautiful and sexy one woven by years of joy and pain. Ultimately, it is about love and healing. 

J. L. Seegars writes with such awareness and purpose. I cannot wait to read more from her!

This book was so good. It’s actually the best romance book released this year and it’s march. Dominic is really a man. I cant believe it he spent 12 years loving his best friend’s wife and didn’t say anything truly the selflessness that God himself writes about and he never made eric look like a bad person when he was with sloane. I just loved how this book emphasises how we deserve love when it feels like we don’t. This book is underrated and I wish i could say hey people read this book. The words that dominic said to sloane even in the regular conversations were so romantic. J.L seegars can write romeo and juliet but shakespeare can’t write restore me
