Omg this book isn’t talked about enough and it needs to be. 5/5 stars a 10/10 highly recommend this book. Agatha is being told by the Grimoire she has to marry a prince of gem and bone that she barely knows and doesn’t even want to marry. She does though but something is up with the prince and the kingdom. Some wicked thing is happening and Agatha and the prince are working together reluctantly at first but as they continue to work together the begin to trust one another more and more. I loved the characters except for a few, mostly because they made me mad. Lol the story is well written and J.L. Vampa is amazing. I can’t wait to get the second book. I really think more people should read this book.

I really understood Agatha as a character. Her motivations and reactions and feelings felt grounded and logical, in her own way based on her past. And I appreciated her struggling between faith in her goddess & the religious system that had become tainted and oppressive and false.

Grimm… sadly… didn’t pass my personal red flags test. And I didn’t see or believe they had chemistry.

That being said, if you want an adult Kingdom of the Wicked / Serpent & Dove, please pick up this book!!

this is what haters to lovers should be like 🥲
arranged marriage between a witch and a prince based on a prophecy my god sign me up this delivered exactly that and more
but also the relationship between agatha and her sisters had me in tears by the end we love a good siblings relationship 🫶

id like to say though tw for the french language i was not prepared there was magic in french and curse words too be careful y'all 😔

           Every star in every galaxy for JL Vampa and her first book in the Sisters Solstice series, Autumn of The Grimoire.

I knew I'd like this book when I first read the blurb. There's something about autumn, and magic, that just make my heart beat a little bit faster. 

What I wasn't prepared for, was the utter undying love I felt for these characters and their journey.

Agatha, my sweet Sister Autumn, she is strong, and sassy and beautiful and kind hearted. She is so well written and so fleshed out that I felt as if I've met her before. She was witty and smart and driven and passionate and caring. Her cottage felt like somewhere I'd love to live forever. And Mabon, oh my goodness Mabon, the pesky little night stalker and one of my favourite parts of the book. I adored her familiar so much and felt like he was such an important part of the story.

Grimm, oh my darling Grimm, my Prince of Gem and Bone. Grimm has absolutely become my new book boyfriend. He grew so much from what I expected of him and by the end of the book I just couldn't get enough of him and Agatha together. He was sweet and caring and protective.

I loved the addition of Gaius, Elenore and Anne. Each and every character I met, from Tindle to Dulci and everyone in between. I cannot wait to read stories from the other Sister's. I need book two, NOW.

I'm so in love with this book. Every page. I've read and re-read and it just keeps getting better. It left me on such a cliff hanger that I feel I may explode from anticipation. I am absolutely desperate to know what will happen next.

Vampa is a goddess among storytellers and I can't wait for this book to be published and in the hands of the world, because this book, should be a number one New York Times Best Seller.

This series gives me life, and I'll probably never stop recommending it.
