I would have preferred more intrigue. With Braydon's profession being in spying, if expected more of an actual mystery underneath a layer of romance novel, but never really got it. It read more like a comedy of errors than anything. Also- my copy was just straight up missing whole chapters. It jumped from chapter 16 to chapter 23. Then went on to chapter 28 before coming back down to chapter 21, and the chapters I'd already had were repeated. So that was a fun little throw back to a choose your own adventure almost, but also the main reason this went from 3 stars to 2.
