While I appreciate Bauer's writing and the fact that she did not stretch out certain parts of this book to make what I thought would be the driving problem of the plot fit the whole book, most of this follows an all too familiar formula with Bauer's books. This book surpassed the book of Bauer's that I read just previously but that does not mean that I will rate the book higher than 3 stars.
