           I loved Noah and Caitlin's storyline.

I was so excited to begin this and see Edward and Ruby together. I appreciated how realistic Edward's reaction was later in the book, but then it went too far for me, and the way he changed and treated his wife so poorly really soured the book for me. 😭 And then their reconciliation later was too short and glib to me after the amount of damage done.

These are just my personal preferences; but the writing and history, on the other hand, were fantastic (if not extremely one-sided/ biased 🙄), and I do honestly appreciate imperfect characters. 

I also liked the shout-out to the author's hometown. ☺️
