Now I'm on a rugby kick. Held my attention. Loved Kip, but why did he have to touch the beard and hair?!

2’5/5 Podría haber estado guay pero meh

I couldn't wait to see what came next. The answer was Jock Rule and I think it was a great addition to the series. Ok, so I loved Kip. I loved Kip so stinking much. A gruff and bearded, man-bunned rugby player? Um, sign me up, please and thank you. Oh, did I mention he's got a heart of gold underneath that hairy exterior? Because he did and I fell for it hard. I wanted to love Teddy as much as I adored Kip, but honestly I struggled with her at times. In the beginning I thought she was too much of a doormat, but later on I just ... didn't get her. That said, I did love how Kip brought her out of her shell and together they were something special. Jock Rule started off a little slow, but it didn't take all that long before it hit its stride and I was all in. I enjoyed the progression of Kip and Teddy's friendship to romance. It was impossible NOT to ship them. There's was a delicious slow burn kind of romance, with so much chemistry I thought my Kindle might actually catch Fire. (Ha. See what I did there? 😉😂) But for real, I couldn't get enough of these two in the second half of the book. There was some serious hotness and great banter and several swoons along the way. Solid read. I can't wait for more from this series! I received a complimentary copy of this book for review consideration. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. Favorite Quotes: "You need a... hairy godmother." Kip vaguely reminds me of that Brock guy, the InstaFamous dude who makes videos of himself throwing his hair up into a bun—but hairier. And less cocky and full of himself.
