I began reading this book assuming it was a cozy mystery. Silly I know but between the title of the books in the series, the name of the main character, the design of book cover and the book description mentioning "laugh out loud humour", I really thought I was in for a relaxing read! I don't mind reading "uncozy mysteries" (although I don't read many of them nowadays, I find they quite boring and predictable) but this one was too graphic and violent for me. Not to mention it didn't make me laugh at all. It wasn't a particularly bad read, just not the type of read I enjoy.
