This story was originally published in Ollmann's Doug Wright Award winning collection This Will All End in Tears, but was left out of the Ollmann Omnibus, so we present it here on its own. It is the heart-wrenching story of a haggard single-mom trying to get a bagel toasted for her hungry kids.
