When I completed this book back in March earlier this year, I rated this 3 stars. 

What made me change my mind was that while I was re-reading it - I stumbled upon my notes in the book which sets me into a session of contemplation, ruminating on the author's easy style of lyrical writing connecting big ideas between our capability (or lackof) to pay attention to bigger crisis such as economic developments and climate change. How he tied it all together was important. This book is a call to action to us all. Us. This problem of atrophying focus affects more than just our individual selves alone but it also affects humanity as a whole in a much, much larger way.
