Gods Among Men

On the planet Eomenra, Prince Thane is tossed into a fight for survival when his father, the king, is forced off the throne of the great city of Ilios. In the violent upheaval, his mother and baby sister are murdered, and his best friend, Kara, is lost to the unknown. Escaping to the forest, Thane and his father hide until the fires in Ilios have calmed. Why is all this happening to him?
