I loved this on many levels. I loved the illustrations and the dialogue. I loved the message, which I took to be that sometimes we think we know the answers to everything, when in fact we're missing the mystery and surprise standing right behind us, waiting to be greeted. And also it was visually just hilarious. Poor alien. 

My only note about the illustrations is a question. Why did he make the sky dark and black like the moon? We know that Mars has an atmosphere which makes the sky look more like ours, right? Just a strange choice. I guess it's nighttime on Mars.
