Great ending to a great trilogy. Just perfect for October reading. Sad it's over. Maberry not only captures the perfect horror/monster tone but creates really rich and full characters who I became very attached to. I read one of the Pine Deep books every October for the past three years and don't know what I'll do next year! I'll be so sad. Guess I could start from the beginning again :) 

I actually listened to these on audiobook and they were fantastic. The reader was wonderful. I became totally engrossed and so attached to his vocal rendition of the characters that I couldn't imagine getting the same affect reading myself. Highly recommend the audiobooks.
