one of my favorite anthologies of all time. cuts across genres and presents an antidote to our rapidly evolving digital world. particularly loved the Ravi Shankar program notes that serve as an ode to Indian classical music and this excerpt from William Oxley’s poem, A Sunset and a Cone: 

for beauty is so ordinary, so everywhere— / the beginning, middle and end of all light — / something that can bruise and brighten

I chanced upon the Analog Sea Review in a local book store and the texture of the book cover was reason enough to take one home. It accompanied me some quiet moments at night, and from one page to the next my thoughts often drifted off to far-away lands. 

"How to protect that unique part of my soul against enforced submission to rules and measures dictated from outside?
