This book won't have mass appeal, but that wasn't Joe's intent when writing this book. Anyone who loves Impractical Jokers, dessert, or dogs will love this book. Joe very clearly wrote this as a love letter to his eight dogs and some of his favorite desserts. I really enjoyed reading about how his family continued to grow in number with both humans and dogs. If only he had included more than one recipe in this book. That's my only complaint and a common complaint I give books where food is a major focus. Especially baked goods.
