The Plot. I really liked the idea of this book. The thought of a girl who loses her identity and then discovers a part of herself that she has ignored is a great sounding book. This book did a pretty good job of going in depth with the story idea. I really like how Sia was this girl who everyone hated because of her vicious streak, and then she forgets who she is and suddenly she is super nice. I thought that the book had an okay flow and that the character interactions were pretty good. The only problem I had was that most of the book was almost monotone. Some parts of the book rushed by almost too fast and others seemed to drag on. Also I felt like the drama in the book was resolved to easily, there weren’t any major hurdles as a result to her amnesia. I felt like this book was almost too happy and perfect in the story line.

Sia. I really enjoyed Sia’s character because I loved how she stood up for herself against people who were supposed to be her friends. She didn’t let anyone boss her around or scare her into falling into the crow. She decided to be her own person and it made it easy to like her and respect her. I thought that she was too forgiving to some people and she let others get away with too much. While she was strong in some areas, she was really weak in others.

Kyle & Other Characters. Kyle was this character that didn’t like the old Sia and wasn’t very willing to give the new one a fair chance. I really loved how Sia and Kyle interacted and felt like the author did a good job with their dialogue. Kyle was very nice and he seemed to let his fears get ahead of him, but that was his only major negative. I thought it was weird how Sia’s “best friend” tries to sabotage her and Sia instantly forgives her. The book would have been better of the drama wasn’t cut so short.

Overall. This book was good and I enjoyed the lesson it taught. It’s a great finding yourself book that many people will appreciate and enjoy.

Every get excited for the concept of a book and just get horribly disappoint with each new chapter? That's how I felt about Sia. It was too cliched and narrow and predictable. With flat, over the top characters and just. I'm just disappointed.
