It’s Different This Time

very genuine question. does this author have low racial self esteem bc i have read two books by her and they’re both smokeshow filipina who can’t believe a tall man likes her and Some White Guy who is a dog in a tall white guy costume (extremely derogatory)

cee

lot of people pointing out in the reviews that the FMC is annoying, not enough people pointing out it’s bc she’s the worst kind of theatre kid

I’m a sucker for stories that include New York City as a lovely background character, so this was right up my alley! The story moves easily between the past back to the present to see this relationship through the time they first met to this second chance. It is a love letter to following your dreams and your heart, no matter what they may be or how long it takes.

Thank you Netgalley for the opportunity to read this ARC early!
