The six stories featured in this graphic novel range from the entirety of Wash's life from a child to a rather speculative story about what might have happened had the tragic events in the 'Serenity' movie not taken place. I'm a big Firefly fan, I rewatch the show and film yearly, and Wash is one of my favorite characters, so I really enjoyed this graphic novel. I think the idea of Wash watching his life flash before him and even entering into a speculative realm of what could have been is brilliant, touching, and sad. Damn. I'm getting all choked up just thinking about it.
