I really enjoyed this book. It was great to get more character development for Leia. Seeing her resale with the reality of her place in the Galactic Civil War was remarkable. After reading several of the comics between , A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back, I feel like I know exactly what she thinking about and referencing, and that was a really cool moment. The writing was so visual. I love that, but the moment creatures are biting and crawling into Leia’s mouth grossed me out so much. Also, the prologue and epilogue were really great.
