           Not my cup of tea. But I, for some reason, found it hard to put the book down even though I was confused during the whole thing. This book has a little too many plot twists for my liking (which was probably why I was confused during the whole book), and the male main character is into necrophilia.

I'm just blown away but every single detail of this book, especially once I reached the ending. It definitely fooled me to the very end. This is going on my fave reads of the year already!

This book was very interesting to read, 
You follow Claire after an incident in the Uk, she goes to New York on a student Visa to get away from her past life and to pursue her acting career. After struggling to find any jobs without a green card Claire is hired by a Law firm specialising in divorces, where when she is wanted, she is to go undercover to get men to confess to cheating on their partners.
One of Claire's subjects soon becomes a murder suspect after his wife is found dead of suspicious causes, The police want Claire to use her acting skills to help lure the husband into a confession, but Claire thinks he is innocent, if he's innocent then who really killed the wife?

This book took me surprise in this one, 
While reading the first third of this book, I had this feeling where I thought I knew what was going to happen, thinking to myself 'This person is the most obvious suspect'.
Then this book did a 180 during the second third of this book, which left me questioning where the storyline was going, some scenes were weird, I was even starting to question Claire because she started acting weird.
Then out of no where it flipped again and suddenly everything made sense and went back to how I originally thought how the storyline was going to go.

Even though I kind of knew who the killer was from the beginning, I enjoyed how the author went about telling the story, and I liked how it made me question the sanity of some characters, It was defiantly a nice little twist.
I don't think many people would enjoy the little twist the book had, but I loved it.

Claire was a fascinating character, and while the story did not initially grip me, once I was hooked I finished the majority of this book in one burst of reading! This dark and twisty tale has been on my recommendation lists since I read that last scene.

J.P. Delaney's first novel was the first book i got approved for on Netgalley and i really enjoyed it. This made me very excited to read Believe Me. I went into this completely blind. This is a twisted mind blowing story, constantly changing, extremely unreliable narrator. Every time you think you have the main character figured out something changes. I personally enjoy an unreliable character, it can make a book more interesting. For some reason this time around it did not work for me. I have found this too hard to keep up with and too often changing that i wanted to stop many times, but i did pull through and it was a surprising ending. One last big twist. I am glad that i completed it but in the end i just dont think this was for me.

I don’t even know where to begin with this review! 
The characters are dark, unreliable and downright psychopathic! I thought I was getting sick of unreliable narrators, but this book changes everything lol! Legit, there might be one character in this book who is a nice, reliable person. The others are probably all going to hell…
Believe Me follows Claire, an aspiring orphan actor in New York. Originally from the UK Claire is looking for a fresh start, however, without a green card Claire is unable to find work… legal work anyway. 

Claire’s life takes a dark turn as she fights to stay in America and earn her green card. That’s all I am going to say in regards to this dark, twisted, amazing plot! It’s a crazy ass rollercoaster ride of a book and I loved every minute of it. 

A quick word of warning. Do not go into this book hoping to connect and fall in love with the characters, they are all psychopaths lol. This does make for an engrossing and intriguing read. Personally, I enjoyed these characters as they are perfectly horrid people and it was actually a lot of fun taking a peek into their minds. Made me feel nice and sane lol.
