I really wanted to like this book. The story and twist were good, and at first I liked the imagery...but then it just got way too drawn out. I struggled to finish it, I just wanted to get to the end already. 

I loved this ! It had me captured from the get go. The crazy plot twist I finally caught onto barely before the end ! The love and romance you want but don’t want because you’re unsure who the murderer is! 

The sad and angry part of growing and grieving and always wondering. 

Plus the realistic OK & TX vibes ! I’ve lived there and it felt like I was back lol.

I can’t tell you how much I loved this book. Like almost any good read, the story is one you may have heard before, but the writing is incredible and the twists are unexpected. It’s a fully immersive, surprisingly magical, and compelling story of incredible women who stared right back and said no. 5 stars.

This is the mystery of the disappearance of a young woman, Trumanell, and the impact of that event on her brother Wyatt, friend Odette, and young girl Angel.

This is a police procedural written in an atmospheric, literary way. The writing is beautiful, a d the character development strong. There was a twist I didn’t see coming. My only quibble was with the person “whodunnit “, as I don’t particularly like that trope.

All in all, a memorable book.

I really enjoyed this book. You never know what’s going to happen next and it keeps you on the edge of your seat! The overlapping timelines kept things very interesting and the ending was a bit rushed but overall really great!!!

I really enjoyed this. I was in the edge of my seat. Fast paced. Short chapters. A interesting mystery with different characters perspectives and layering timelines. I didnt rate this a full 5 stars because I felt the ending was a little rushed and some unanswered questions.
