Thick As Thieves A Romantic Comedy
Reviews

another cute and light easy read from Julie Olivia.
it was funny and sweet, predictable yet not at the same time and i liked that. slow burn for sure, kept my interest at all times.
the only thing i’d like to see more is Owen’s perspective. the chapters aren’t equally divided, we get to see more of Francesca’s POV.

Highlights

“I have been crazy about you since the day I saw you. You have to know that. And listen, if you don’t want me because of this mess, I get it, but I’ll be honest…I’m not gonna stop trying until you see that we’re made for each other.”

“I’m gonna let you in on a secret: just because life gives you lemons doesn’t mean you need to be put off by the sour taste.”
“Do I make lemonade?”
“Make a mixed drink.”

Just her, and the decision to make her first priority comes as easy as breathing for me. It’s the obvious choice.

In the midst of this madness, all I want to do is grab her by the arms and kiss her. I want to kiss her and never stop, carry her in my arms across the city until I’m weak in the knees, hoist her up to the top of the Empire State Building like King freaking Kong and proclaim how proud I am that she’s mine.
like King freaking Kong 😅

It’s in this moment that I’m hit with how much I truly care for her. I knew it before, but the idea of leaving here without her now seems so awful and miserable it’s almost ridiculous.

So I laugh, because I never want to hear the words ‘break up’ come from her mouth again.

“Yes, but I should know what I’m doing.”
“It’s okay if you don’t. You’re making mistakes just like the rest of us.”
“My perfectionist bones are quaking.”
