Crux

Eighteen-year-old Birdie is homeless but surviving, until the day she grabs some money thrown in the air by a crazy man, with the idea she'll be able to buy dinner that night. In that moment, Birdie becomes the girl in everyone's viewfinder: thugs want to kill her, money-guy wants to recruit her, and the very hot Grey Mathews wants to save her. With just twenty-one days left, Birdie has to decide whether to fulfill her heritage, and risk her life for people she's only just met.
