. Let's start with the good stuff: the writing? So fast-paced. I literally flew through the chapters, hooked from the very first page. Julie Soto knows how to build suspense and keep it going. BUT the third-person POV? Yeah… it tripped me up a couple of times. There were moments I had to pause and reread because I wasn't sure. 

Throughout the book, I had so many theories: was it the family? Was it really the Thrashers? Was there something more sinister going on behind the scenes? The way the mystery was layered kept me guessing, but I won’t lie, the final conclusion wasn’t 

 crazy as I thought it’d be. Still satisfying, just not the full mind-blow I was gearing up for.

Now, onto the real reason I was invested: JULIAN. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Julian. I swear, from the moment at the party I 

 something was going to happen with him and Jodi  and trust me, my gut is not always right. But this time? Nailed it. 

Zach though? NOPE. Even when he found out his best friend liked her, suddenly 

 decides he’s into her too? Sir, BACK THE FUDGE OFF. It gave messy, and not in a good way.

And don’t even get me started on the ending. Julie Soto, what are you trying to do to me?! I had to reread that epilogue 

 trying to make sense of it. Julian and the whole ghost thing?? Questions. 

. But now that I’ve sat with it, some of it clicks. Some.

All in all, this book was a wild, fast, emotionally chaotic and I liked it that way.
