Once I started this book I didn’t want it to end! Reminded me of all my dads advice he tried to give us kids growing up. It was a good laugh.
I was feeling down when I started reading this book, but by the end I was clutching my stomach for I was laughing so hard. And its not just a funny book, but talks about the filial relationships between parents and sons making the book enjoyable while valuable.
Ok. I went in this with the WORST expectations. Because it's stupid. Because the show was stupid as FUCK. And the twitter account that started all of this to become a book? I never followed that account. So. This stupid thing started with a dude who broke up with his girl, and that left him homeless and sad, that led to him moving back in with his parents. Boo Hoo. But that dude's father. Oh man.. I first was like reading the start and whenever his dad was talking to him saying funny shit, I'd do the exhale-from-nose laugh. Not much, but meh I was kinda liking the dad. I got the gist of how the book was gonna continue, dude shares an experience he had since he was little with his dad and at the end of that experience/chapter/whatever he had a bunch of dad's opinions about random stuff. After the first 2 chapters if you like, I thought it was funny but not something to be hilarious or something. Of course it is NOT a serious book or whatever so it was a 2 star rated book. But then halfway through I caught myself laughing out loud with the stupidity and the way his dad was taking things every time something was happening. And I gotta say, I don't even care if half the stuff in there were made up. Either THIS dude is funny, or his dad is. I care about having a good time reading the book. Didn't even expect that, so that's cool. Also Justin Halpern KNOWS how to write/talk. If you wanna laugh, go ahead and read it. Casual reading and no matter what, you will definitely laugh at least at half of the moments in there. (unless you're an asshole)
Nema se šta posebno reći o ovoj knjizi. Humor je odličan,ali dobro namešten i smišljen. Pokazuju se razmišljanja brižnog roditelja sa tankim živcima. Ima dosta psovki,ali nisu suvišne. Preporučujem ako vam treba nešto da vas zasmeje i da vam obrati pažnju na porodicu.

Thanks shitloads for making me laugh out loud so hard I had stomach aches for days, by myself, like a creep. It seldom happens and it was very well needed.
Great, quick read. His dad is both hilarious and insightful at times.
