Her chest is heaving as she glances over her shoulder, so I do the same, spotting Ryder coming out of his room holding scraps of material in his hand. His eyes are deadly as they lock on to the little woman pressed against me.

She yelps and slips past me, pressing to my back as if I'll protect her. I don't know why, but that makes me puff up, and I glare at Ryder as I slam the door. Crossing my arms, I turn and look around at the woman in my room. Right where I didn't want her.

"She sure is something," Ryder mutters, watching me. As always, his eyes sadden when they spot my chest. He blames himself, I know it. Always does when one of us gets hurt, always thinking he has to protect us. Save us. He doesn't, but he won't listen to me, not that we ever spoke about what happened.

Let me say this right off the bat: FAT ASS TRIGGER WARNING. That I saw nowhere in sight. I personally was not triggered but there is some fucked up shit in this book that would definitely trigger others. 

Moving on, the main chick Roxy is so cliche and annoying and try-hard I want to vomit. Even her NAME says it all. She’s this “bad ass” biker rocker chick who swears like a sailor and ~isn’t like other girls.~ the minute I read she has a clit piercing and gets turned on while getting tattoos I lost all hope for her. 

As for the men….whatever. Hot gang guys, one of them is an actual sadist so do with THAT what you will. When people said this is Wattpad vibes they really meant it, in the worst way. Seriously, the dialogue could’ve been written by a thirteen year old.

I did like some of the spice scenes, and Garrett’s character. So, the 3 stars is for that. But seriously…do not go into this with high expectations.

The story is a little unbelievable but the spice makes up for it. Lots of trigger warnings. Very dark, but makes you want to keep reading.

honestly i really don't understand the hate on the book lol for me it was a silly read but it was really good, in a few time it will feel like a fever dream lmao. but believe me, that after this one, jesus will not let me go to heaven lmao. 
i loved the characters and their personalities, i hope garrett heals, and that diesel never loses that crazy sparkle, that ryder stars enjoying more life and that kenzo never loses his addictive personality and heart, but more importantly i hope roxy never stops being a badass

           I don’t want to be rude in my review, but what the fuck is this. I just felt like the book could have just been condensed with the information that was provided. I felt like it could have ended as soon as they saved Garrett. I also felt like the parts that were supposed to be dramatic, just was not, at all. I also want to say that the smutt was minimal! I felt like even though she had 4 guys there was hardly any group action & if there was, it was the same every time. The guys doing the same thing. I also would like to say that. I also felt like she could have been with Kenzo more. She was mostly with Garrett and Diesel. I wanted more Kenzo and Ryder action.

Okay I’m going to be totally honest with this review. This was one of the hardest books I have ever had to fucking read. I could not stand the main character, there was the word “fuck” on every page, the MFC kept saying “I still hate you” every chance she got like girl we fucking know already. Did I find some of it enjoyable? Yes but no smut or plot is enough to make up for the 200 extra pages that didn’t need to exist and the hours of cringing at this literary masterpiece. Anyways so glad it’s done but if you’re thinking of reading this book just know I’ve read Wattpads better.

I got to 46 percent the second time around but still having issues. I liked Kenzo and Garrett but Ryder rubbed me the wrong way and I just wanted to whip Dieasel but figured he'd like that.

this ticked all the boxes I wanted in a spicy book. 10/10 spice🌶️, 4 male main characters I LOVED, a sweet story of found family, mafia love story, a badass female main character… what more could I ask for. and maybe I need therapy but hey I loved the spice in this book! I can see 100% where its not for everyone because it does take things to an extreme and could potentially be triggering but I enjoyed it. As for the reviews saying theres no plot? It does hold the plot of a fantasy novel or anything with all this world building etc but it did build on character development and a found family who have to fight for one another or die, there was definitely plot along with the smut. I truly melted with some of the romance in this book too these characters had such tough back stories and the love the built despite it UGH MY HEART = MELTED.

I have... a lot of conflicted feelings. 

First off - idk why the author decided to name all the characters some buff hotrod dudebro names but they sound like the names of generic biker gang characters. Ryder, Garret, Kenzo, Diesel, Roxy... c'mon lol. I'm not one to be super picky on names because it's so subjective but these were bad even by my very low standards. To the point it almost pulls you out of the story sometimes with their sexy one-liner phrases and these names. 

Second - if I never hear another mc ever say 'they were afraid because they all knew what they were. they were vipers. and they were dangerous' ever again I am telling you it will be too soon. If you tossed out all of the repetitive mentions of how badass and dangerous these men were - how nobody messed with the vipers because they've got fangs, how they were so feared and notorious nobody touched what was theirs and they bite back harder - I swear you'd be cutting out half the book. It got SO REPETITIVE I just started skimming pieces because there would be several paragraph explanations of people's reaction to them followed by a monologue of why they're scared and/or why they should be. It got to be a bit too much. 

Third - the author does have a tendency to show-not-tell and at times it gets very very old. 

However... lets not pretend I picked this book up for it's masterful prose. The book was spicy. But in a surprisingly depraved and dark way. I picked up the book expecting a dark romance and a dark romance I got. It was almost like a buffet of every kind of 'not good for you' relationship there is mashed into one book. Each one of the 'brothers' (not actually brothers) filled one of those stereotypical roles had had a very different relationship dynamic with the mc.

I will probably never reread this book, but I can't say I didn't enjoy reading it.
