I didn’t know what to expect into going into this and while I liked a lot there were a couple of setbacks that I couldn’t overlook. I haven’t read a reform playboy book in a while and liked how this one started. The plot was set up well and I was excited to see what would have come from it. But it felt jumpy with no clear consist flow. What you would think is a big plot point, being the boss’s daughter and future boss of the team, wasn’t discussed like it should have been. Like it was a huge chunk just left out of the book. I also think some of Rigg’s issues were overlooked by the end of the book. There were three main points of the book and by the end I felt only one of the three were actually hit. But even the third felt rushed. What was here I liked, I just wished there was more to it because I think it would have only benefitted it more. I do wonder if the next book would have more to it. I was also scared that it would be cringy but there were only a couple of parts that stuck out so that is a postive in my book. There were some grammar and spelling mistakes but not that many. I liked it, it was good, just wish there was more to it to cover all the bases of the story. It did feel like it ended abruptly and just think they needed a bit more.
